Full OBS setup checklist

Install OBS Studio
Download free OBS from obsproject.com (Mac or Windows).
Enable OBS WebSocket Server
OBS → Tools → WebSocket Server Settings → Enable WebSocket server. Note the port (default 4455) and set a password.
Connect RareStreams to OBS (this page)
Enter your WebSocket URL and password in Settings → OBS Integration. RareStreams reads stream status only — it does not control your camera.
Add RTMP stream keys per platform
In OBS → Settings → Stream, use Custom service or the platform preset. Paste RTMP URL + stream key from each cam site.
Keep extension connected for chat
Video = OBS. Chat = RareStreams extension (stay logged in on cam sites). Both run at the same time on your computer.
